Minor Heron Press
began as a project of S.O.M.O.S in 1982.Its first
publications were the art poster “Chant” by Bill Gersh,
and annual programs for the Taos Poetry Circus.
Later the press became the media production arm for the World
Poetry Bout Association and began releasing videotapes from the
Taos Poetry Circus and publishing the nXt Generation Anthology
of youth poetry.
In 2004 we became a non-profit corporation in our own right.
We are an educational and literary organization based in New Mexico.
